Looks like we have another dev who thought they could click "export to linux" in their game engine's IDE without testing anything.
Anyway, your build crashes on startup, and yes i did chmod+x first.
I tried running the windows version via Wine, but both of them are German

The Linux Version dont Exported by Maker itself (its not working i know, so i not some of this devs..) i updatet the NS.js of the Windows Version and it runs perfect on my steamdeck with the itch.io Client, nativ on Linux without Proton or Wine. I will try to finde a solution, but i can't test my game on all linux systems, i'm not a aaa dev and have only steamdeck runs with linux. So this is my indicator.


I have untested Mac Releases and always make a Tag for this Versions [Untested, No Support]

But i will try a new nwjs Version. I uploading the Version Linux_B today, in 1-2h its online. Maybe it runs better an your system.

The game is perfect, really, but I'm still waiting for Nekomata part 2, I really want to see the end of this thing, but this geme is one of your greatest job, you're doing great things

Quite a cute little game, with quite an unexpected story twist. Awesome. The music in the forrest is absolutely horrible though.

What do not like about the forest music? I'm the composer of some of the songs including the forest music. If you can  give me some more feedback, then I could fix it. :)

Now thinking about it, I'm quite unsure if this is actually a bug or if it was a stylistic decision to make the forrest more trippy and confusing. Anyhow, I hear two pieces playing at the same time. Or well one piece that is bitonal in an absolutely jarring way. I don't know. It does sound like it's two pieces playing at the same time.

I'm not sure how this could've occured. Normally  the pure song outside of the game sounds alright to me. Maybe some other thing occured on the game what influenced the overall sound experience. Another possibility could be, that the stereo panorama of the different instruments are to distant to each other, so this bitonal effect occures. I'm not sure, if I can fix such a problem. Nevertheless I really appreciate your additional answer on my question. It  might help me to improve the quality of my creative work. :)

By the way I reworked some aspects of the song, because of some feedback of the dev. Maybe the new version will be better, although I'm unsure, when the new song will be implemented inside the game itself.


Edit: The dev showed me the video of the bitonal effect and it seems to be a game bug. It is really strange indeed.

This looks really interesting, but I also don't know any German. I'm looking forward to playing the game when an English translation is available. If you need help, I'd be willing to volunteer if that's at all helpful...you could throw it in Google Translate as a first pass and I could try to mold it from there. But otherwise, I'll look forward to playing in the future!

I always translate something when I have time. I also have to translate some pictures, which is unfortunately not so easy because I want to do it right. I think there will be an english version when I am done with the forest.

Tal vez pueda contratar a alguien para que lo haga. Pero, aparte del alemán y el inglés, no habrá otros idiomas por el momento. Si acaso, al final del desarrollo, cuando los 3 capítulos estén terminados al 100%.

Ich arbeite immer wieder daran. Aber zurzeit nur extrem langsam und an Kleinigkeiten. Mir fehlt die Zeit am Stück. Denke wenn sich meine Situation bessert dann werde ich mehr Zeit in Dampftraum stecken. Ich teile Fortschritt auch immer auf meinem Discord.

I know some German, but not much. But I’m going to try it out and see how it goes. It’s very beautiful (the video game) and that’s a point in its favour. I would like to see the game not only in English and German. I’d like to see it include Italian and Spanish as selectable languages as well. I wish you good luck and will try the current version. Thanks for the message! I enjoyed your game and it went from joyful to heavy real quick. I think the crab minigame was my favorite part with the strategy needed.

I'm not sure if there's more after the credits, but I got stuck in a loop afterward. It won't let me post a picture but it indicates a background image is missing.

I have added the image. Either you can move it from the archive itself to the right folder, or you transfer your savegame to the new version. If you don't want to load it again you can move an empty picture named Erfolge_BG.png in

Ich habe mir das Spiel kurz gezockt. Ich muss wohl zugeben - die Grafik in diesem Spiel ist beeindruckend! Ich wusste nicht, dass man sowas in RPG Maker schaffen konnte. Leider bin ich im Spiel nicht weit gegangen, weil es ein Fehler beim Speichern aufgetreten ist - "Syntax Error - Unexpected end of JSON Input". Es hatte wahrscheinlich damit zu tun, dass ich das Spiel im Linux-Betriebsystem durch Lutris gespielt habe.

Ich werde den Rest des Spiels in meinem Windows-Rechner sehen!

Okay ich habe es durchgespielt.

Die Sache mit dem Fehler beim Speichern war mein Fehler: mir war es nicht klar, welcher Knopf "Speichern" und "Laden" war. Also ich hatte versucht, einen leeren Spielstand zu laden, was zum genannten Fehler geführt hatte. Ups!

Dein Spiel fand ich zwar ziemlich gut, aber es gibt einige Stellen, die ich frustrierend fand.

Die Geschichte war super: das Ende hatte ich gar nicht erwartet, und es hat mein Interesse geweckt. Während des Spielens hatte ich die Erwartung, dass das Spiel um ein süßes Mädchen, das die Welt sehen wollte, ging. Du könntest vielleicht dir meinen Schock vorstellen, als ich zum ersten mal das Ende gesehen habe!

Jedoch war es frustrierend, durch die Erzfinden-Sequenz zu spielen, denn ich habe mich ständig wegen der Dunkelheit verlaufen. Es war so dunkel, dass ich die Helligkeit meines Bildschirms erhöhen musste. So habe ich die Erze gefunden. 
 
Außerdem, waren die Minigames im Strandgebiet okay. Nichts atemberaubendes, aber auch nicht übel.

Ich will ja unbedingt sehen, was mich im geheimen Ende erwartet! (Könntest du vielleicht ein paar Hinweise darauf geben, wo die Schlüssel sind?)

Sehr cool. Die Helligkeit in der Höhle werde ich anpassen,  das ist echt schwer da ein gemeinsamen Nenner zu finden ohne eine Gamma Regler. Werde das auch nochmal etwas interessanter dort machen. Du bist nicht der erste der dies Meldet. 

Das mit den Speichern sollte ich verhindern,  kann sein das es schon gefixt ist bei mir. Ich sehe mir das nochmal an, danke fürs Melden.

An unfinished game in German? A great way to learn more of the language!!

Are there choices/branching storyline?

Currently there are 2 endings. But no decision options, for the second ending you need to find keys and do something with them just before the end.

Still cool!
