Face the immortal Overlord with Lyria and her sword Edelstern! But beware, his power is immense! Die and return stronger, aiming to one day surpass him. Yet, does he hold one last trump card? What a strange place this is!
Story
In the depths of time, the Dark Lord rages, an immortal being that has threatened humanity for eons. Despite the united efforts of the realms, his destruction has never been completed. Rumors say that only a pure soul can recognize his true self and extinguish his essence. Lyria, the battle-hardened war maiden, tracks the Dark Lord's traces to the abandoned castle of Schattenstein. Her sword, Edelstern, forged from a shard of the moon, allows her to look into the souls of her enemies. The decisive battle draws near as Lyria ventures forward. Can her purity vanquish the evil that lurks within the castle's walls? The answer lies in the dark heart of darkness.
Gameplay
It's simple!
Step 1 -> Fight!
Step 2 --> Lose!
Step 3 ---> Become stronger!
Step 4 ----> And try it again!
This game has only one battle that is constantly repeated.
Your goal is to pass it!
Buy buffs and perks between battles.
Win and unlock one of 2 endings.

It seems like this website is gonna die for the same reason Steam games are being removed and all these comments will disappear soon. But I hope you'll continue to update this. Don't let censorship win.

Tried the online version of the demo, but after 3 or 4 loops when I went to see the defeat/rape sequence again it crashed with "SyntaxError missing ) after argument list". Will try the download version and see if I can isolate it better using my own copy of MV.
Strange, maybe a typo in the random texts. Thanks for reporting it, I'll take a look.
Yes, the error still occurs in the download version. But the console log didn't seem much help at isolating it. I think it happens after the "Day 2" goes across.
I'm also getting several other errors in the console log:

Those 2 appear when the game is started.
And after each time that I save the game there's
"Save data too big!"

I have found the error and uploaded a fix. If you want you can try it out. The 2 missing pictures are not important because they do not appear in the demo. The error is only caused by a plugin which wants to preload them. You can ignore that. The images will be present in the full version. Save data too big is also normal because I use a plugin which saves a little differently.

Go back to the campfire and get fully dressed.
Actually a really fun game. Since it's a WIP I'll treat this as an early access rather than a Demo, I humbly suggest you to change "...put my gear around..." to "...put on my gear, around..." to avoid any confusion.

I'm developing in German, and since not all dialogs are final yet, the English translation has suffered a lot. It will be completely revised again when the final dialogs are in the game. Thanks for playing and your feedback!
